COLLEGE LIFE

My experience at Pinc has made me much more confident,
I can be my authentic self and know that I belong

  • Every day is structured to include a mixture of learning, preparation for next steps and opportunities to build social connections.
  • Our days are shorter and we have regular breaks to allow our students to self or co-regulate – we know this suits our students needs and enables them to thrive.
  • Our students will each have an individual learning plan which is tailored to suit their needs, interests , aspirations and goals.
  • We teach our core curriculum with complimentary studies, including Maths and English, if required.
  • Our team are there to support our students – we see it as a  shared journey.
  • We tailor their teaching strategies to individual needs – we create relationships of trust.
  • We create environments, in partnership with our location partners, where students feel comfortable, safe and feel able to engage with learning.
  • Our campus locations are true partnerships and our students and teams collaborate in joint activities where they learn from each other.
  • We have simple tools and strategies to support our students – including visual planners to help structure the day and session goals to break down the projects into manageable tasks.
  • We invite our community partners to work alongside our students to share their knowledge and interests.
  • We support our students on their pathways to the workplace with our Green Futures programme and opportunities to move onto further studies, Support internships and  apprenticeships, and planning for their chosen future
